The National Trust - Probably most people think of stately homes and estates when the National Trust is mentioned; however they are responsible for the protection of vast areas of valuable habitat within the British Isles which are used by much of our native wildlife. Why not visit and see what's on offer or even become a member.
South East England Independent Nature Group (Seeing) - This is a really great site with some outstanding nature photography, the galleries include mammals, fungi, birds, dragonflies and damselflies. Well worth a serious browse.
The Forestry Commision - This organisation looks after thousands of acres of woodland with the British Isles. Although the production of timber is their main objective, the plantations are used for recreation and provide some valuable habitat for dragonflies, damselflies and other wildlife.
The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust - Why not visit this site and see the reserves maintained by the Trust. Why not become a member or a volunteer and help preserve Hampshire's wildlife.

Dorset Wildlife Trust - Become a volunteer or a member and assist the Trust with their 42 reserves across the county.
Butterfly Conservation - An organisation dedicated to saving wild butterflies, moths and their habitats throughout the United Kingdom.
The Woodland Trust - Founded in 1972, the Woodland Trust is the UK's leading woodland conservation charity which relies on the support of its many members and other supporters to continue its work.
British Waterways - An organisiation who looks after much or our 2200 miles of canals, rivers and waterways, many of which form very important habitat for our dragonflies, damselflies and other wildlife. Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust - The Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust (WWT) is a leading UK conservation organisation saving wetlands for wildlife and people across the world.
RSPB - The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds is the UK charity working to secure a healthy environment for birds and all wildlife, helping to create a better world for everyone.
The Wildlife Trusts - There are 47 local Wildlife Trusts across the whole of the UK, the Isle of Man & Alderney. We are working for an environment rich in wildlife for everyone. With 791,000 members, we are the largest UK voluntary organisation dedicated to conserving the full range of the UK's habitats and species.
The Amateur Entomologists' Society - The society which was founded in 1935, is a registered charity run by volunteers for those with an interest in insects (entomology). Many members also have a wider interest in natural history in general. This is an excellent site and is well worth a visit.
Wildlife Extra - An extremely comprehensive website that not only covers the United Kingdom but issues from across the world. You can even subscribe to their free weekly ot monthly newsletter to keep up with all the latest news.
British Dragonfly Society - A site that promotes the conservation of dragonflies, damselflies and their habitats. There are many links to other related sites and some really useful information.
Hantsweb - Visit this Hampshire County Council website for everything thats going on in the County and in particular the leisure pages, which are accessible from this link.
Visit Hampshire - This is the official tourism website for Hampshire. This link will show you all the places of interest to visit in the county.
